Rite of Election 2026

Every year as new men, women, and children prepare to enter the Catholic Church on Easter, the Bishop oversees the “Right of Election” and “Right of Continuing Conversion” for the new Catholics-to-be just as Lent gets started. This year, the Diocese of Peoria saw over 500 people come through these special ceremonies that were hosted at four different times over the course of one weekend. Incarnation Parish is excited to see 14 people come through the waters of Baptism this Easter and 16 total new Catholics being welcomed into the Church.
