Illinois Pro-Life March 2026
The battle for life in the womb came to the states after Roe-vs.-Wade was overturned in 2022 and the battle against physician assisted suicide just came to Illinois this year. Incarnation Parish rented a bus this year and took 40 people down to the Illinois Pro-Life March on the Solemnity of Saint Joseph this year. We began with a Mass hosted by the Diocese of Springfield that took place at the ice arena in Springfield and was attended by over 2,000 people. We then marched around the Illinois Capitol Building with a few thousand other people for the voiceless in the womb and the despairing and hopeless who want to die. As Catholics who understand the innate value of every human life, we have a special responsibility to stand up for and defend life in all its most vulnerable forms.
