Youth Group Service Trip
On December 21, 25 members of the youth group traveled to Lutheran Hillside Village to bring some joy to the residents there. We spent about an hour and a half have a cut-throat trivia competition. The residents loved it and so did the students. It was a blessed experience of joy and community for all. After our service, we headed to Pizza Ranch for an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner!
Confirmandi @ Sophia’s Kitchen
The 8th grade Confirmation class volunteered at Sophia’s Kitchen this week! God Bless everyone who helped make this event special and memorable for this group of teenagers.
Box of Joy & Clothing Drive
Our Brimfield church hall is the drop off center for the Box of Joy Drive for all the Catholic Churches in our region! Volunteers worked very hard to go through and organize each and every box donated in our area. This year our area dropped off over 1000 boxes! God is SO AMAZING! A special thank you goes out to Tina Windish for organizing this event. Great job to everyone who donated their time and energy to make this such a success for those in need overseas.
Youth Group Bonfire
Youth Group led by Father Corey and Annie Bosch ate hotdogs and roasted marshmallows on the fire, hiked in the woods, learned a lesson on how to become a saint (Do God’s will - as He wills it - because He wills it) and prayed the Rosary for our deceased loved ones in the cemetery.
Saint John’s 1st Place Float
Over Labor Day Weekend 2025, Bradford had their annual Labor Day festivities including a great parade. Saint John’s church entered a float to celebrate their 150th anniversary. Once the parade ended, the float was awarded a first place trophy! Congratulations to Angie Stange and her team.
Incarnation Parish Festival 2025

There were softball games, Bags Tournament, BINGO, LOTS of FOOD, prizes and drawings, tons of people meeting people, socializing and so much FUN. As most of you are already aware, Soseman Hall was renovated throughout the months of June, July and August. If you haven’t seen it yet, you must! It looks wonderful. Special thanks are due to Dan and Lynne Bridson for working diligently throughout this process. They are true warriors for our church. God Bless them!! Thank you also to all the other volunteers who helped and anyone who donated to this project as well. Please call Lyndsay if you would like to rent the hall for any special occasions.

Youth Group
Youth Group had a blast on their final outing of the school year at Starved Rock. Thank you, Father Corey and Annie Bosch, for leading this group of teens. "Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, and conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." (1Timothy 4:12)
Illinois March for Life
The Illinois March for Life in Springfield was kicked off with a beautiful Mass at the U of I Springfield Theatre. There we prayed for the intentions of those that have lost their lives to abortion, we also prayed for mothers contemplating abortion, and for those who think abortion is a choice and not a murderous crime. After Mass, we headed to the Rally in front of the State Capitol building where we listened to heartfelt stories from politicians and other leaders of organizations who support the Right to Life Campaign. It was very moving. After those speeches we walked and sang and rallied with our signs while wearing our matching blue sweatshirts that proudly advertised we are PRO-LIFE!
Chili Supper
The 2nd annual Chili Supper was a success! We had 17 pots of chili entered into the competition. 1st place was Jacob Dye, 2nd place was Donna Cokel and 3rd place was Lyndsay Blank. The kids (and some adults) watched the Wild Robot movie...while others played board games of all sorts. Thank you to all who participated, decorated, cleaned up and ate LOTS of chili and fixins'! Hope to see you all next year =)
CCD Christmas Program
Roseanne Urbanc led the children this year in a new program about the birth of our Lord and Savior. The children had many lines to learn and many songs to sing. The house was packed with parents, grandparents, and so many who came from near and far! Our parish is blessed with 80 children so thank you to Roseanne and Kathy and all the CCD teachers who helped make this new program a success!
