Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King! (Psalm 47)
Our parish rejoices with the Lord, as we welcomed a large group of men, women, and children, full of faith and love for the Lord into the Church through Baptism and the profession of faith. Those of age were sealed with the strengthening balm of the Holy Spirit by the Sacrament of Confirmation. We celebrated heartily after the Mass with cakes, cookies, punch and champaign! (Rainbow is resting above Saint Dominic church on Holy Thursday - it was a Mass to remember as many couldn’t make it due to tornado sirens going off all around, and the power went out during the first reading and we celebrated the rest of the liturgy by candlelight!)
